Hello

What pool slides would be the best for a 4.5 year old and a 2.5 year old?
The oldest is a bit of a daredevil.
Is there any slides except storm along bay that they wouldn't be able to use with a life jacket?

Thanks

anyone??? so then i should assume that my kids will be able to go down any of the pool slides no problem with life jacket on?

DS used a life jacket at POFQ slide. It's a small slide but he's not a good swimmer:rotfl:

life jackets are allowed in the pool, so my assumption would be they're allowed on the slide too.

as for what pool slides are best for both age kids - personally speaking I wouldn't put my 2.5 year old on the same slide a kid double her age would go on. Then again I've seen others do just that and their kids were fine.

Does your 2 year old swim? BLT has a mild slide and a very small slide for the very young ones. I know AK Kidani has a very small slide as well but there main slide is a bit more than BLT. Cbr has 2 slides that are pretty tame and they also have a kids water play area that is gated and exclusively for the 48" crowd and under that has several short slides. It's my favorite pool and water play area for you get children.

They both have taken swimming lessons but both still would need life jackets.
Its mostly just my daughter who will use the slides

I just wondered in case my son got brave

The Poly is dark and my boys loved it, 10 and 7 at the time, but my daughter would not go on it until she was 8 1/2.

However she loved the GF slide as did my boys. She was 5. It is open. I like it because I felt like I could see everything with all three. They also have a new, cute mini water park that they both would just love.

Although POFQ has a cute servant slide, your little one may not like the face.

Hope that helps. :)

The pool at CBR has two slides. One is enclosed and the other is not. It also has a great play area for kids under 48." My kids were 4 and 6 when we went and I loved the zero entry pool since it made it easier for us all to be in one pool.

My DS wore a lifejacket at WL and AKL when he was around 4 or 5. Not sure about sliding with a 2.5 year old unless you have mommy and daddy at the top and bottom respectively waiting.

The mildest slide we've had was POFQ, which may be the best for a 2.5 year old.

POR, WL, and AKL were fairly mild. CSR is a bit higher and longer.

SAB has an area with a slide for little ones.

It depends where you are looking to stay at...Mod or deluxe?

For Deluxe or Villa: BWV Luna Park or SSR (2 seperate slides )

For Mod's: Definetely CSR There Slide and pool is one of the best on property. Also POR is very good....POFQ might be geared for your kids though.

Stormalong Bay to me is just waaay too big... My kids who are 9 are good swimmers but there are soo many different areas that aren't linked , that it's hard to keep an eye on them. even when I was with them in the lazy river section ( which is DEEP )it's very nerve racking....

Either route you take I'm sure you'll have a great time and kids will enjoy...
