Pool slide only!! WL or AKL

I know most prefer the AKL's pool because of the size and zero entry - but based on the slide alone (that's all my kids care about) - which one would you prefer?

They are both pretty mild, But the AKL has a slight edge. For the best slide the Poly, BWI and YC have them beat.

i recently read that the pool slide at WL is "smaller" in that it won't fit a bigger kid comfortably... so, since my 10yo dd is over five foot tall already, i crossed WL right off my list!

My kids are only 7 and 4, so this won't be an issue with them - might actually be an advantage.

I voted AKL. My 6 year old DD is sitting right here and I asked her. She preferred the AKL slide...said it was taller (not sure that is true, although I think so.)

Also, I liked that I could park myself right at the stair entrance to the slide and watch her go up the steps and down the slide over and over again, all from where I was sitting. There was a nice shady area with lounge chairs (although you may prefer sunshine..I like to shield my skin from the sun as I have done enough damage already, LOL.)

The larger the slide the smaller a kid will feel in comparison to it, and thus the bigger the thrill. I researched the WL a bit before deciding on the AKL for the last half of our honeymoon stay and a common theme I noticed in my questions was that the AKL was one of the larger slides so it was a bit funner than the WL's pool. Plus the AKL has a larger pool which should be a bonus for kids as well.
