Pool refurbishments at Kidani

We are staying in a 2 bedroom the last week of September. Love this place. But we usually like an afternoon break to go back and swim. Heard the are going to be doing refurbishments to the pool and everyone will be sharing the pool at Jambo. Anyone have dates for when this is supposed to start. I have heard conflicting dates.

I believe the refurbishment is at the Jambo, not the Kidani pool. With that said, with refurbishment starting September 1st, there apparently will be shuttle service back and forth from Jambo to Kidani for Jambo guests to use the Kidani pool. That means more crowded.

We love Kidani-but the one afternoon during our recent stay they had to close the pool at Jambo and it really made the Kidani pool seem crowded.

I cannot imagine having only the one pool at Kidani available for close to 3 months at both Kidani and Jambo House. Kidani pool is much smaller and the deck area is very limited and it is usually packed. Surely they will offer a water park too.

Anyone have personal experience with Kidani pool since Jambo pool closure? We arrive tomorrow and expecting it to be very crowded.

It was packed this past Saturday

Kids still had fun, but line for water slide was very long and just a ton of people in the pool
