Good afternoon,

We will be at the Boardwalk in June and was wondering about the pool temp during that time. Is it too hot? Also, can we use the pool at the Beach Club Villa since they seem to have a better pool than Boarwalk.

Many thanks.

The pool's are a perfect temp to swim in, especially in the summer. Disney never lets the water get "too hot" to swim in. You can't pool hop, however, especially to the Beach Club because you need to show room keys to get into that pool and get a wrist band. Although, if you want a little secret (we stay at the Beach Club every year), after 4 they stop checking room keys and giving out wrist bands. So, if you want a night swim, chances are you can head over. You're not supposed to, but its possible.

Once the temps stay at 80+ degrees, the pools do start to warm up. By July they are feeling a bit tepid, in August they feel good to get into but then after about 5 mins you can't tell you're in the water!
As for checking out other pools, you are not able to do that. There is signage at each pool stating that the pool is for the guests of that resort only. At SAB, Beach Club's pool, you need to show a room key in order to get a wristband to get into the pool area.

Another question about pools then

Are you allowed to spend the day at your resort pool pass your check out time?

Like you check out but stay at the pool until 3 or 4 and then go home. Is that a no no also?

That's fine to do.

There is no pool hoping if you are not DVC also the pool tempature should be just fine when we were in WDW last June the water felt cool and just great :)

Thank you for the replies. I am learning a lot. Last I was there was in 1996. I am really excited.:goodvibes

Even if you are a DVC member, you can't pool hop to any of the pools at BC/YC/BCV which includes the leisure pools in addition to SAB.
