I would like to stay at the Contemporary, beacuse of the monorail to MK and just because that's where we always stayed when I was a kid. I noticed that there is a slide at the pool there now. My DD is 2.5, would she be able to use the slide or are there some sort of restrictions?

What other suggestions do you have for a resort onsite that has a "cool" and toddler friendly pool (she's an almost swimmer and loves water slides, but not those pop jet areas or shallow kiddie pools.

Thanks!

She can use the slide. You can't slide down with her or catch her right at the bottom but you can be in the area so she can swim toward you and then you can help her if need be. You can show your resort ID and check out a life vest (free of charge) from the marina for the duration of your stay, that way she can go down the slide (feel safe) and swim (float, paddle) to you at the bottom.

there is no kiddie pool at the contemporary. the pool was very busy and i found it harder to watch my kids there. the other resorts seemed easier.

I believe the Yacht and Beach Club's Stormalong Bay also has a pretty good kiddie pool area. In fact, most believe this pool is the best overall of the Disney resorts.

I agree, SAB has so much to offer, for all ages. You can have fun on the sandy beach area with your DD and there are shallow areas to swim. Over by the entrance to the big waterslide there are also smaller slides for kiddies too
