Pool in mid-December

Has anyone used the pool at the RPH in mid-December? I have a 5yr and 1yr who love to swim. We're from Virginia and don't like cold.

The pools are heated. We were at HRH in January & the pool was definately warm enough to swim. We just kept our towels & robes near us.

Thanks for the reply! Did you have children with you? If so, what ages? I will be there for Christmas with a 1yr and 5yr old. We've never been and are hoping to have an entertaining /child friendly vacation.

We had no children with us. However, we saw lots of families with small children and it looked like everyone was having a great time. I heard that Christmas time is especially nice with the ice skating, the Grinch, and the holiday theme. I believe I even heard about a section with some snow.
