Pool Hours

What's with the pool hours? I stayed in BWV with my sister last November and the pools were closed at 9 pm. We visited AK lodge for dinner and the pool hours seemed to be till 11 p.m.

Disney does know their parks close at or later than that most of the year and after a hot day walking miles in the parks people might want to relax in the pool.

Have they adjusted this since? My niece is planning a trip, and I offered my DVC points but they were wondering about the pool hours.

Is there a schedule of which pools close when?

Since the gates the listing was pools are closed from 11p to 7a however I have noticed when the gates were not working BWV did not always stay open until 11p. The quiet pool seems to be open late every evening and don't know I have ever seen it closed before 11.

11PM is about the latest pools are open. Since the young boy drowned at one of the Value pools about a year or so ago, Disney has fenced in all the pools and limited pool hours. During cooler months, pools get closed earlier since it gets darker earlier. And sometimes if it gets really cool, the pools are all closed.

I think that they need to find a better balance, there are people like us that will go swimming no matter how "cold" it is.

If the pool hours say closed between 11 PM and 7 AM, then they should be open during all other hours unless there is lightning in the area of course.
