Pool Hopping

Hey all,

I'm making a quickly-planned trip to WDW next week -- I'll be staying at POP. As a DVC member, though, I still have pool hopping privileges, yes? Assuming this assumption is correct, what is your favorite hop-able pool (I know AKL, BCV, and BLT are off that table).

No, sorry, DVC members only have pool hopping privileges while they are staying at a DVC resort on points. Pool hopping is not available while staying at a non-DVC resort on a cash reservation.

OKW...SSR....Poly....all have a nice pool slide. I'm a fan of the WL pool for the ambience even though they only have a very small kiddie slide (the rest of it makes up for lack of adult slide---aka the spring from the lobby that runs down into the main pool). BWV has a slide as well, but I don't think the necessity of having to valet park makes pool-hopping worth it here.

What are you looking for.

The Poly is a nice pool for a MK break. Nice slide with a tunnel, attached the the beach, zero entry.

Like Maria, I like the WL pool. Its so wonderfully well themed that the lack of zero entry and tiny slide don't bother me. My kids aren't slide kids, and at my age, I'm just as good with the kiddie slide.

SSR has a fantastic pool area, but it isn't easy to get to.

BWV would be the one to hop to if you wanted a break from Epcot.

The POR pool is very cool. Coronado Springs has a lot of fans.

But frankly, we've found hopping to be far more trouble than its worth. A pool is a pool - even SAB isn't worth walking over from the BW for when we can hop there (staying at BW when the slide is being repaired) for us. Transportation, time to get somewhere else, wet swimsuits, changing if you are taking a park break. It isn't our thing.

LOOOOOOVE the Poly pool!! huge fan!!! You should check it out!! I know you mentioned AKL... but we were there 2 weeks ago, fell in loooove with their pool! so nice!

I'm a big fan of the Coronado pool. Love the slide there, and it also has the largest hot tub on property! If you are on a DP, I like to eat at the Pepper Market too.
