Can you use the pool at Vero Beach for the day if you are staying at DVC resort at WDW?

Thanks!

Yes, as long as the pool is not at capacity and it's not a black out period. It's about a two hour drive each way.

The last I looked, the VB pool WAS on the hopping list. Be sure that you call first before you make the 2 hour trip to find it's at capacity.

That person was staying at a non-Disney resort nearby VB.

I suppose the only thing we need to know is is the OP at WDW, staying on points.

Yes, I will be staying at OKW on my DVC points.

Just pulled out my current Disney Files and on page 16 it lists VBR as one of the pools as long as it doesn't fall during the blackout dates.

Thanks!

You'll have no problem but you will have to call first. That other thread was from 4 years ago. Once you get to DVB simply go to the front desk (they may ask to see your KTTW card) and they will give you a temp pass card to gain access into the pool and beach area (They are both gated). I'm pretty darn sure you can even get pool towels from Ebb & Flos if you do this, but you might ask that when you call. (I've done this twice myself)

We have stayed at Vero at peak season when the resort is fully booked and have never seen access to the pool being restricted in any way due to supposed "capacity" issues. That may have to do with the fact there is also a beach that people bounce back and forth to the pool from.

Frankly, every time we have called a Disney resort asking if it is O.K. to come over and pool hop, we always experience the same nonsense (some front desk CM puts us on hold and eventually comes back with a "gee...uh...I guess you can.....you are a what member...have you called the CRO and asked if this is part of your package...blah blah blah.......")

It appears you can pool hop to VB, but why would you want to? It's a two hour drive there and back and the pool isn't much different from any of the WDW pools.
