Pool Hopping?

Sorry, I know I've seen this info here, but with the search function dead, I haven't been able to find it...

Is pool hopping available to all DVC members, or only while staying at DVC resort on points? What is the etiquette? Do you show your members ID at the pool, or how does it work?

You can only pool hop if you are staying on points. The CMs at the pool will ask for a room key not your Membership ID. The room key will say DVC Member on it if you are using points for a stay at a DVC resort.
