We are DVC members staying at OKW in a couple of weeks and would like to "pool hop" over to SSR for a bit. We will have a car; will we be able to drive over there? Will security give us a hard time? Do we get a visitor pass? I assume we need some sort of parking pass...

My experience is that with your parking pass from OKW on the dash they will just wave you through at other resorts. I would park where there seem to be plenty of spaces so you are not creating a problem for anyone who is staying there. Have your room key available in case you are asked for it at the pool.

You should be ok, but personally I would take the bus or the DVC Ferry to the resort..

Not trying to be a party pooper.....
but...
I don't think that you can pool hop at SSR,BCV or AKL:confused3

SSR is not restricted for DVC pool hopping.

That's was what I thought. Thanks for clarifying Deb & Bill!:thumbsup2
alldiz about gave me a heart attack :scared1:

We are going to be at OKW in 11 days. We planned on taking the ferry over to SSR to check out the pools at home since we havn't been there yet. Maybe checking out the movies at the pool at night (if that wasn't just rumor).popcorn::

You can't pool hop over to BCV?

Pools at BC/YC/BCV are not open to pool hopping. I thought every DVC member knew that one. You can find that on the member website.
