Is pool hopping allowed at the Disneyland Resort? For instance, if staying at the villas, can we pool hop to the Disneyland Hotel? What if we stay on points at Paradise Pier, can we pool hop to the Disneyland Hotel? Just wondering if that's allowed, or not.

Thanks!

The ONLY time hopping is allowed is if "your" pool area is closed. So when we stayed at PPH but the pool deck was being worked on and the pool was closed, our keycards were already coded so we could get into the DLH pool area. (not the Grand) Otherwise, it wouldn't have worked.

No, pool hopping is not permitted.

We had a split stay and the key did not work at the gate. I grabbed the wrong key for the second leg and had to get the correct key for DLH.

Pool hopping is not allowed. However, if you want to spend an afternoon at the DLH or GCH pools and don't mind spending some money on it, you can rent a cabana at either of those pools for a full or half day. The cabana gives you your own reserved space with couches, chairs, and shade plus a fridge, water, fresh fruit and you can get food delivered there as well.

Just a thought...

Thanks for the information. I tried looking on the website, but couldn't find it.

We have a 2 bdrm villa for 3 nights (Weds, Thurs, Fri) and we're waitlisted for Tues. We might decide to stay at one of the other hotels Tues, if the waitlist doesn't come thru, and maybe even Monday. However, we would need 2 rooms, and the price is pretty steep at the DLH, as well as the points needed. So we might go with PP to save a little, but wanted to try the pool at the DLH, either during our stay at the villas, or the preceding days. However, that plan is out now since we can't pool hop.

The cabana sounds nice, but I'm sure it's pretty expensive. Where would I find more info on that?

Thanks again everyone.
