Was wondering if live music is ever available on the pool deck during the day on the Disney Dream? I was looking at the Navigators but couldn't tell. We are a doing a 4 Night Merrytime Bahamaian Cruise on the Dream and was wondering if would could relax poolside and listen to some nice music?

Also, on port days, is the pool deck less crowded? Was thinking of staying on the ship while in Nassau (been there a dozen times and don't care to get off the ship then), was thinking that might be a night time to take advantage of the pool then.

Thanks for your help!

There's a small stage area that may have live music, or a show occasionally, but, for the most part, there's usually something going on on FunnelVision (movie) most of the time.

Generally, yes the ship is less full on a port day, although in Nassau, not as many people get off the ship as, say, at Castaway Cay.

and thats exactly what the deck looks like, not the empty place you see on the commercial! My honest opinion coming from a family who loves "going to the pool", you may find your appetite for pool time on the cruise not what you thought it would be. Dont get me wrong, we hit the pool here and there and ride the aquaduck but I dont feel its a hangout all day quietly by the poolside kind of thing.

Often in the afternoon there is music by the cove pool for adults. That's where we spend our time. And we never get off at Nassau just stay on the ship and ride the aqua duck and sit by pool.

Sorry, didn't think about the adult-only area:
Quiet Cove on a sea day:

Quiet Cove on embarkation day (while everyone was headed for lunch)

I don't recall any music (live or piped in) in the Quiet Cove area, but I could be wrong.

Ahhh...........quiet cove...........how I love thee.

We tried satellite falls two weeks ago on the Dream and found it to be a really nice place to relax as well while our DD was in the Oceaneers Club.

We go to the pool and Aquaduck in the evening at about 5:30 or so while guests are prepping for early dinner. :)

The pool is definitely crowded though on sea days and even port days in Nassua.

I remember a small band playing in Quiet Cove while we were in Nassau. This was a couple of years ago. We were in the Serenity Falls area a lot this year and did not hear anything.

There was gentleman playing guitar and singing on Deck 12 across from the Currents bar on Fantasy in September 2015...but I don't recall anything in January (Fantasy) or May 9Dream)
