Can anyone tell me a little more about the water/fountain area at Pooh's Playground? How wet do the kids actaully get? Is it worth bringing a bathing suit/swim diaper or a change of clothes? And is it true they make you keep your shoes on when you play in the water? :confused3

Thanks...just want to be prepared! :flower:

HI..We just returned this afternoon from a week in Disney and visited the new Pooh area twice with a 2 year old and 18 month old. The kids went NUTs and just loved it! Located across from the Winnie the Pooh ride, it has a giant 'tree' that the kids can go in and out of, honey pots to crawl through as well as 'tree limbs' they can crawl through. There are benches all around to sit on and a great recycled/artificial padding ont he ground to resemble wood chips and leaves in them. The water area is off to one side and YES - if you let the kids play long enough - they will be SOAKED! We kept our son 'away' from that area since it was early in the day but our friends let their son play for a little too long and required a change of clothing. There were MANY children being dragged away, kicking and screaming, only to be completely changed. It is not a water park type of thing but if they stay in the water that squirts up long enough, they will get wet enough for a change of clothes. We got LOTS of great pictures and really a great new addition..Have fun!

We were in the playground for a short time and it would be *very* easy to get soaked *very* quickly. My daughter stood in the water area for approximately 2 minutes and she got very wet. I would bring a change of clothes.

What a waste of space. They should have kept the20,000 leagues under the sea. It sounds like its similar to the play area at Ariel's Grotto. Besides Pooh already has an attraction. Couldn't we do something for the Jungle Book. If not for the Jungle Book something in the fantasy category which hasn't been recognized. Lastly its only for a small age group which has also has a similar play area in Mickeys Toontown. It just seems like a cheap waste of space.
