I was wondering if anyone has any info about the Pooh playground in Fantasy land? Is it open now? Does anyone have any pictures?

We leave tomorrow morning and I am really curious??

Thanks for any info you have! :earsgirl:

On one hand I'm glad that they included a place for little kids across from Pooh. There were probably many disappointed kids and parents who entered the MK at 11:00 AM only to find the Pooh queue at 30-40 minutes and the Fast Passes starting after lunch.

On the other hand, I will find it a personal annoyance. My 6-year old is still young enough to enjoy a "Play Place" and will insist on going in until we drag her out. *sigh* It will be right up there for my DH and I along with the Dino Dig and the Bug Play Place (aka Honey I Shunk the Kids). Of course, we let her play because she loves it. But I would much rather do something else while the time ticks away. It will have to be an afternoon visit, I think.

I thought the sign said it was for children 2-5 years old. If your child is 6, why would you not explain the rule and move on?

Just curious

Because I didn't see the sign until you mentioned it. LOL. I will have an excuse to skip it, then!

Personally I don't think they are going to "card" your kids at the entrance to the play area. If you child is playing nicely I am sure they will let you stay.

We were there over labor day and our kids loved it. They were 4, 4, and 2 of course we hated it and wanted to move on!! :) They had a good time and playing the sprinkler was a nice way to cool down. I thought it was really hot in there but I guess it was hot everywhere and just sitting there watching the kids play made it seem hotter.

My kids are excited about it too, but I don't know how long we will want to sit there. There are much more exciting things to be doing in the Magic Kingdom. We can go to a park anyday!!! :flower:
