Pony Rides?

When we last visited WDW in May, 2002 my 2 year old DS took a short pony ride on a horse named BlueBerry at Fort Wilderness. The cost was a few dollars and it was over by the petting zoo.

When I looked at the website today I only saw Carriage rides and Horseback riding for people over the age of 9.

Does anyone know if the pony rides are still given?

Thanks.

Wayne

We were just at Fort Wilderness in December and they had the pony rides.

On our December visit in 2004 they still had pony rides. :flower: :sunny: :earsboy:

We saw pony rides being given last week. There is no age limit...There is a weight limit of 80 pounds. They have a scale right there where they give pony rides, and they do weigh the children. :sunny:

Thanks everyone.

He is asking to ride again and I was afraid he'd be disappointed. Glad that's not the case.

Are these the pony rides that go around in circle or do they ride around a rink? My DD6 wants to rides horses so bad, but everywhere is only the pony rides that go in a circle which she says is for babies
