Ponchos from Target

Anyone know if they have hoods? I bought the $0.89 emergency poncho, think it was from Coleman. But it doesn't list a size ("one size fits all"), nor is there a picture.

I also bought kids ponchos ($0.99) and these had a picture and definately have a hood. But these are also slightly bigger than the adults version, so I wondered then if the adult one had no hood?

I also looked for a small towel, couldn't remember the name though, but like a golf towel, small and superabsorbent (for wiping down the stroller), but I couldn't find any. Any one know the name? I did see some golf towels, but they were expensive and I didn't want to pay to have some golf name stiched in the towel.

The super absorbant towel is called a shammy. You can get them in the auto section (to dry cars off after washing). Can't help with the ponchos.

I use those ponchos every trip! I buy about 3 per person and return the ones we dont use. Yes they have hoods. I put them on the kids too and tie knots into the bottom to shorten the length. If you want to be really thrifty, they fold up into a ziploc sanwich bag pretty easily, if you want to reuse them.

I just bought my 3yr old ds a rain slicker from Walmart (in the infant/toddler section) for about $5. It's just a simple slicker that isn't lined and has a hood and snaps up the front. I bought a size 3-4T and had him try it on. It comes down to his knees. He's 40" tall.

Just thought I'd mention it for anyone that is interested. I think it's a tad nicer than a poncho and it's still roomy enough to fit over whatever clothes he has on underneath.

I think the towel you are looking for is spelled chamois (it is pronounced shammy!).

Thanks, I plan on thowing the poncho's away, but I will have ziplock bags with me if they are not that wet.
