Ponchos at WDW

Does anyone know approximately how much the ponchos cost at WDW? Are there adult and kid sizes? I'm trying to decide if I should purchase them before we go or just wait until we get there....if we need them.

We leave in 7 days !

when I was there in Febuary I beleave they were $7 a piece and i do think they have adult and child sizes.

We just bought some last week!

I don't remember the exact price but $7.00 sounds right. They do have child sizes and I believe they were $1.00 less than the adults.

I paid around $26 for 2 adults and 2 childrens ponchos.

One reason to purchase early is to get something other than the trendy yellow. When it rains at DW, everyone turns yellow -- making it more difficult to stay together.

Having said that, I remember someone saying they were switching to clear. Anyone?

It's something like $5 for kids and $7 for adult ponchos.

I go to the dollar store or Target and buy a bunch of disposalbe ponchos - 2 for $1! They are small and compact. It's great to just throw it away when it's done raining. It sucks carrying around a big wrinkled wet pancho.

We have official Mickey Ponchos, and dutifully cart them down to WDW every time. But we hardly ever use them. Unless you know it will be pouring all day, I recommend "disposable" $1 camping ponchos. They are thin enough everybody can carry one around with no problem. Toss them if they get used heavily. They are great if you get a surprise shower.

Yes, the ones I bought last week were clear with a Mickey on the back.
