~I saw the great thread about the Polynessian, and I am thankful, but I have a few questions I couldn't find answered.

We are a family of three adults, and three kids aged (at time of travel) Five and a half, two and a a half and 9 months. Which House is the easiest to get to the monorail? Is it easier to walk to the TTC than to ride to it?

We use our ADR's for lunch, and usually eat counter serviceint he hotels. Last time we stayed at POFQ and we loved that food court. I can't find any info on a food court at Poly, is there one and I am missing it?

People have been talking about being tagged or flagged and getting better tickets, etc What is this? I have never heard of it. How does one find this out?

Thanks for the help!!

I'll help where I can, and I'm sure others will be along to give some info too.

Rapa Nui is the loghouse closest to the TTC. As for being easier to walk to TTC instead of riding the monorail, I'd say it's much QUICKER, but not sure if it's any "easier". We always walked to the TTC in the morning to go to Epcot, then rode the monorail back to the Poly from the TTC in the afternoon. Riding to the TTC from the Poly has stops along the way at GF, MK, CR then TTC. Leaving TTC, Poly is the next stop.

We enjoyed eating at Captain Cook's, the Poly's CS restaurant. Here is info on it: http://www.wdwinfo.com/wdwinfo/dining/diningdetail.cfm?Restaurant.ID=22

I don't know anything about being flagged or tagged for discounted tickets...

Are you talking about room upgrades possibly? Or the free dining offer going on in the fall?

I also have never heard that terminology of "flagged" or "tagged". I don't know anything about "better" tickets.

I think the easiest longhouses to get to the GCH are Rarotonga, Samoa and Aeoteora. We have stayed in both Samoa and Aeoteora. They are both close to the pool and short walk to the bus stop too. Helps if you are staying during the hot summer. You can just cut through the longhouses if it is raining too. We will be there May 17 and I will be happy with any of those longhouses. You will love the Polynesian.

We stayed in Fiji and it was a very short walk to the GCH, especially Captain Cook's.

I think he means the 'year of a million dreams' except it is already at 2 years.

you may win something in the parks or resorts - no guarantees!!!

have yet to win something and I go alot.

5 1/2, 2 1/2 years old and 9 months old - forget walking to TTC - take the monrail at the main house if it is closer.

here is a map
http://www.wdwinfo.com/maps/PolynesianMap.pdf

all the restuarants, snack bar, shops are in Great Ceremonial House GCH. getting lost here was easy - so be sure to mark your kids - names, address, where you are staying, etc.

all the building except the CH look the same. - so be sure to check the signs out in front - now they have finally put a sign at each door (or did) to tell you which building you are at.

now I never got lost here - but both my mother and grandmother have. So just be aware.
