Hi
Has anyone stayed here lately. We have booked a room but didn't realize one of the beds is actually a queen sleeper sofa. This would seem ok for Kids but we are 4 adults. Any idea if these Sofa beds are reasonably comfortable. Kinda late to change reservation now.

I watched a couple videos online and they appear very comfortable. Not like we slept on at our grandparents' house.

We thought the sleeper sofa was very comfortable. Only marginally less comfy than the actual bed. Well be back there in 8 days.

I slept in a queen sofa bed at animal kingdom lodge kidani village and HATED it. Im not getting a dvc room again because of that. Id ratherstay at por with 2 queens.

Kidani are doubles, I believe; Poly is a queen. Most DVC sofa beds are doubles, in fact.

One bedrooms and two bedrooms villas have queen sized sleeper sofas in the living room. Studios all have double sized except for GFV and PVB. I didn't think any were that good. Both for sitting and sleeping.

I stayed at a Poly studio in May with 2 friends. One of my friends used the murphy bed, the other the sofa bed. Are any of the adults smaller and could use the murphy bed?

I agree that the studios are probably designed for a family with 2 adults and children. If you want more than one real bed you are better off staying in the resort hotels than the DVC areas unless two bedroom units (or more) are a possibility.

WE prefer real beds. However, many people claim to find the sleeper sofas fine for sleeping. I guess that it is a personal comfort issue. Age, size, sleeping habits may all play a role.

Are you booked with rented points or through WDW? If you have a regular reservation, it is relatively easy to change to a different resort (subject to availability, of course). We have changed resorts just days before and even on the day of arrival when issues were involved. Of course if you rented DVC points, then that isn't possible.

We've never stayed at the Poly, but VWL and BWV. I hated the sleeper sofa at VWL. It was like what you imagine from grandmas house as a kid. The one at BWV felt like a regular bed, it was wonderful! My point is, they are all different. Hopefully someone can report from the POLY specifically!
