Hi All!

Any suggestions on a few good room or area recommendations for a standard view normal room? Close to the monorail and bus and amenities are nice, but were also open to a somewhat decent view should it exist for a standard view room.

Thanks!!!

What is a “normal” room? Non DVC? Close to bus and Monorail are pretty much mutually exclusive

Raratonga...standard view will get you a tree/monorail view but the location is fantastic. Right near the pool, GCH, etc.

With that view category, I’d personally vote Rarotonga first or third floor. Rarotonga is a great central location steps from the bus stop and Grand Ceremonial House (where the monorail station is located). First or third floor for patio or balcony as the second floor resort rooms don’t have balconies.

Have fun!

Rarotonga is a great location! We prefer north facing and sometimes we even can see the Oasis pool! This year, we were assigned a 2nd floor room and I have to say, we did not miss the balcony at all. Unless you are quite tall, you cannot see over the railing when you sit anyway. Plus, we always took the stairs up and didn't miss the elevator one bit.

Fiji standard room has a lovely view of the quiet Poly beach, beautiful landscaping and sometimes the GF.

Except for west facing rooms in Niue, (too loud) you cant go wrong in any Poly longhouse. ☺

We loved Niue 1st floor facing the Volcano pool. I am not sure if this is a standard room now?

We did not find it to be too loud at all. We loved the location.

Glad you liked the location! ☺️ With the kids activities, movies on the lawn, etc we just prefer something a little quieter. But, everything is nearly perfect at the Poly! 🌺🌴☺️
