Polynesian resort room recommendations

We are heading for our first stay in the Poly studio Lakeview. Looking for any recommendations of building or room location.

There is only one building for Poly DVC Lake View -- Moorea. Ask for a higher floor.

I'd ask for third floor. The view is amazing!

Do all DVC poly rooms have balconies?

All the DVC Poly villas have balconies or patios (1st floor). Keep in mind that almost everyone who reserves a Lake View asks for 3rd floor. Since only 1/3 of the Lake View villas are on the top floor and not all of them will be available on the day you check in, the odds of getting that request are not in your favor.

We have our first ever DVC stay at Poly coming up soon. If I'm understanding the Room Request window, it is 60 days prior to check in. Are the online choices between buildings and floors or are there others to choose from? I have a standard view booked. The reservation didn't automatically show up in MDE either. I'm guessing I need to link the reservation? And last question...If I link the reservation into MDE, is the room request done through MDE or through the DVC website? Thanks for any help! New learning curve going on here

Requests during online check in are basically worthless for anything more than near transportation or near elevator. To be honest I don't know exactly what Poly online offers but OKW is about the only resort I've seen that offers specific areas to be requested. You will either want to email or call MS to place "good" requests. And there's no 60 day window for that. You could do it as soon as you make the reservation.

You will have to link the reservation to MDE for it to show up if it isn't already there. Most of the time I have to do that - now and then one will link up automatically.
