Polynesian plumbing problems?

heading down to the Poly in 2 weeks and was just told by a friend that people are reporting that the Poly is having issues with their septic tank. He said that some people have even had to be relocated to a different resort. Has anyone heard confirmation of this? Has the problem been fixed?

I have not seen anything about this reported anywhere and all Disney resorts are on a central sewerage plant, no septic tanks. I believe the people, who told your friend, (is there a bus driver in this chain somewhere?)who told you are mistaken.

There is no septic tank at the Polynesian. They are on a sewer system. However, the new bungalows do have different toilets that make a lot of noise throughout the day under the building, It's like a woosh or something.

We're in Moorea right now and have had no problems in that area. Just the slow draining shower

Visited Aloha Isle this week, and a two man crew was pumping out waste right next to the Dole Whip stand. The smell was appalling, and the work must have been critical enough to be done in the middle of the day in front of guests.

We stayed in a Bungalow from Oct 7th though the 9th and when we got there, we had no water. After about 2 hours, finally, problem was fixed. LOL GADisneyDad14!!!!!!!!!
