we liked both...Poly's considerably more expensive, of course so if money is no problem I'd say go with the Poly for convenience factor.
Other than being able to get Dole Whip & Tonga toast, we thought Poly's counter service was very so-so. We like the counter service food at Port Orleans French Quarter much better. However, Kona Cafe is one of our favorites...we have never done 'Ohana -- no little ones & the menu/entertainment just don't appeal to us.
Both resorts have awesome decor & landscaping...we had good maid service at both, helpful desk people too.
Convenience -- POFQ is just a very nice & relaxing boat ride away from Downtown Disney -- much faster than taking a DTD bus from any resort (and way more relaxing.) So you have easy access to all the DTD restaurants (but if you're on the dining plan, most of the DTD restaurants are not on the dining plans.)
Convenience -- POLY is on the monorail, so easy to hop to Grand Flor & Contemporary for their restaurants (also good) and can take the monorail to Magic Kingdom - or - you can walk from the Poly to the TTC to catch the MK ferry, or get the Epcot monorail. So that's very convenient for both MK & Epcot.
