Polynesian Concierge ?

Does the Polynesian have 2 conciege buildings (Hawaii/Tonga) or more? I know that the offerings and concierge staff are in the Hawaii building but are there rooms in that building too?

The Poly has one concierge building - Hawaii. This is where the lounge and staff are located.

The Tonga building houses the suites at the Poly. People who stay in the suites in Tonga are eligible for the benefits of the concierge services in the Hawaii building.

well, apparently there is a small lounge in the Tonga building too for the suite guests. As I understand it, there is food and drink out, but no staffed desk like in Hawaii (for PS's, check in, etc).

I'm looking into checking this out firsthand in a future trip! LOL

there are limited snacks out at Tonga. All day long there is fruit, they have a small con. breakfast, chips are out as well as cookies, but it is nothing compared to Hawaii.

There was a CL CM there for a few hours of the day.

My experience was four years ago though!

Here's some Poly Hawaii and Tonga concierge lounge pictures from our June 2004 trip.

We actually liked staying in the Tonga better, as it houses only a handful of guests (compared to the Hawaii) and we got the best CM service! Our fridges were STOCKED daily with different sodas and bottled water and there was always great treats and beverages in the lounge, which is also on the 2nd floor.

We had a CM at the desk from early am thru late afternoon.
After that, if we picked up the phone, the concierge staff from the Hawaii would answer immediately and take care of our requests.

Also, the WISHES music is piped into the Tonga balconies~
what a treat!

Will be returning after they rehab the suites next summer, no doubt!
