Has anyone recently stayed at the Polynesian Concierge? Did you enjoy your stay? And, for those of you who stayed over a Saturday night, what was offered during dinner hours in the lounge?

Thanks! ;)

Hi Cali!

We stayed in Hawaii for five nights and arrived home on 11/25. It was wonderful as always. WISHES is incredible from the Polynesian.

We were there on Saturday night but I don't remember what was offered for a special appetizer that night. We were having dinner at California Grill that night anyway. Maybe it was sushi that night? Or maybe sushi was Sunday?:D Does Tikiman's site list the offerings by night? One of my favorite things is having a glass of wine and some appetizers before heading off to dinner.

Have fun at the Polynesian. Is this your first stay there?

We stayed in Poly Concierage from November 8th through November 15th. We absolutely loved it and can't imagine staying anywhere else now. We were there over a Saturday night and the offerings were egg rolls, cheese, crackers, some kind of pulled meat and rolls. It was enough to tide us over until our dinner at Ohana's. You are going to love it!

We're currently booked at the GF for the first week of January, but I'm considering switching to the Polynesian to try out their concierge service. Has it been moved back into the updated building? I'd love to hear recent reviews also to help make this choice easier.

Yes, it is back in the Hawaii building.

We stayed at the Polynesian (Concierge Lagoon) in 2000 and really enjoyed it. Though I planned on staying at the GF (got an urge while on hold with CRO for the Polynesian), I can't wait to get back there! ;)

Cali, maybe the pulled BBQ pork was on the menu Saturday night? Just kidding because I really can't remember which night was which and actually didn't even go to the lounge the night of the pork but my son said it was the best he had ever had. Another night a cold pasta salad and a sort of chili mac was served. Chicken satay yet another.

Anyway, have a great time. Seems like much longer than nine days since we were there. Cam hardly wait to go back!

Hi there - we were also there from the 12th to the 16th of November - and that Saturday night was definitely the pulled BBQ pork sandwiches - we've got pictures of my 7 year old pigging out - before we headed over to the Hoop De Doo!!

Every night they had something yummy! We weren't there every night - but it was certainly a fun time grabbing a glass of wine and appetizers before we headed out to whereever!

Sounds wonderful! ;) Saturday night will be the only night we'll be able to get the dinnertime appetizers, and I'm glad there will be some good ones! ;)

Ahhh, thanks for asking this question...we're leaving De 10th... (almost) 4 days and a wake up! I'll try to remember to post what we saw when we get back the 17th.

Wa-hooo!!!!
I'm psyched!!!:hyper: :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:

We were also just there from 11/15 - 18 (then went to the YC 11/19 - 22)

Sorry, can't tell you what they had to eat but I juist wanted to say we had a GREAT time!! Thiis was our second time there and it won't be our last! :)

Have a WONDERFUL time!!!!

Jill
