Polynesian and boat to MK

I know that the Polynesian has a boat that leaves from the marina to the MK but does anyone know if this runs all day or only in the morning and the evening? Specifically, I am wondering if we can take it from the MK to the Polynesian after lunch or early afternoon for a break.

It runs from the morning to after closing of the MK.

When leaving MK, just head to boat ramp marked Polynesian/Grand Floridian Resort. There were 2 boats running continuously throughout the day when we were there in July/August. From the MK, the first stop is the Grand Floridian and then it makes it's way over to the Polynesian.

I think you might want to check about this - when we were there in January, I don't think the boats were running at all - if they were, they weren't going back and forth continuously like they were when we were there for Spring Break.

Maybe that was just a "it was really slow because of 9/11 thing", but I think I'd check with them to be sure if you are counting on it.

They didn't run continuously like they usually do when I was there this year 4/9 -4/15. That was the first time I had ever experienced that. This was the week after Easte so it was supposedly still spring break.
