1. Does anyone know how I can make a sheet of clay with a plaid design? (maybe using canes, though I'm slightly "cane-challenged"). I am trying to make some Cub Scout figurines, and the boys' neckerchiefs are plaid.
OR, MAYBE MY NEXT BEST IDEA.......?
2. If that doesn't work, my next idea is to scan a neckerchief, reduce it (so the scale will match the figurines), then print it on fabric-transfer paper and make miniature neckerchief-print fabric. From there I think I would want to cover the fabric in liquid (Sculpey) clay so the neckerchiefs would still be "clay" rather than fabric. Anyone have sugguestions for doing that?
