Poly - which would you choose

I'm just dreaming here, but if I had the means, I can't decide which I would choose.

CL is awesome at the Poly. You will still get a TPV from the Poly lounge, so having a GV isn't a problem.

But aren't the GV club rooms all currently "construction view"?

Seems like such a waste of money to look out into a construction area.

Personally, hands down on the CL. To me, I'll go sit in the lounge and eat and drink CL offerings and have access to watching wishes there with the music piped in, versus the one time when I have morning coffee that I may sit on a balcony and see construction, if that's the case. Plus, I thought I heard if you're on a second floor you don't get a balcony?

True. Except for the newer longhouse like Tokelau & Tahiti 2nd floor rooms don't have balcony. Only 3rd floor. 1st floor has patio.

I agree with poster, I'd just hang out in the lounge!

I get you man! Dreaming. Me too. I will stay there one day, may or may not be our next trip (as my husband is really wanting to stay at the AKL at some point) but its nice to dream!!!!!

I just looked at the prices for a CL room vs a standard room on mousesavers for the 2015 value season and it is $200 a night more. So a CL room would never be worth it for us, as the only thing we would use would be the food in the lounge and for $200 a night extra, that could be 3 CS meals a day for our party of 5. But hey, go for it if you want.

With TPV being $710 and TPV CL $942 we chose TPV for our upcoming trip in October. It's our first Poly stay and We just want to be able to sit on the balcony and view the fireworks from our room. We like CL option but the view is our main goal this trip. Hoping for Tuvalu with a 3rd floor room. Also hoping for RO discount when they come out lol.
