Poly villas dvc-nondvc split stay...

I bought a confirmed reservation for 4 of our 5 nights and paid rack for the last night on Disney's website. What are the chances we will get to keep the same studio? I've already put a note on the res, and I know there are no guarantees... I read they are different room blocks... we have a toddler and that will not go well lol

You've done the best you can at this point. When you check in, ask the CM if you are blocked into the same studio for the entire stay.

The key is that your reservation on cash must be the same DVC view is what you rented. I assume that it is, but just wanted to mention.

I know that studios at BWV are listed as standard for cash stays, but are in fact, really pool/garden,

But, if you have it noted as a continuous stay, they will do their best. just recognize it isn’t a guarantee,

Be sure to mention at check in as well!

Ok this makes me feel better thanks, I read that the rooms were entirely different blocks and so if you tried to mix dvc and straight res you were out of luck

Did you book a Villa through Disney or a regular hotel room? If it is a regular hotel room then they are in fact different blocks and I highly doubt you would be able to stay in the Villa.

Villa, the regular room is cheaper so if I have to move anyway I was just gonna do that, but if theres a chance I can stay I will

Great, and you verified you have the same view of DVC villa booked? There are two..lake view and standard view.

They have to be the same to get a chance not to move.

Then you’ll definitely have a chance. Like I said, be sure to mention at check in to remind them so that if they didn’t give you a room that allows you to stay, they might be able to change there.

You will probably have to go down to the desk and check out and in because they are different reservations. I have had to do this but we got to stay in the same room!

One more thought. Did the DVC member put the information in about your cash stay so it’s noted on the reservation?

Along with you having done it, they should do it to, with your cash reservation number. This will go a long way in helping you!

They can call, send an email, or do an online chat to have it noted
