Poly to WL - boat ? How ?

We will be staying at the Polynesian. DD really wants to eat at the Whispering Canyon.

How can we get to the WL for lunch ?

Our Sunday AM will be visiting MK. Then lunch at WL.

Can we stop at our resort, the Poly, and then boat to WL from the Poly ?

Do we have to go straight from MK by boat to the WL ?

Please help with your suggestions.

The little resort ferry boat that goes to the Polynesian doesn't go to WL. It runs between MK, the GF and the Polynesian. So, you would be better off heading to WL from MK. There is a boat that runs between MK and WL. If you wanted to go back to the Polynesian before heading off to lunch, then you would have to get back to MK.

During our trip in 2004 we stayed at the Poly and I used part of our "rest day" to visit the WL (it's a beautiful resort!). I took the boat from the Poly to the MK. Then I waited at the MK dock for the ferry. The ferry ride to the WL was slow and relaxing.

Other option, and we use it, is Take the monorail to CR and go out the back doors to their boat dock and catch the boat from there to WL.
