Poly ~ suggestions after check in

We will get to the Poly around 3'ish. We have dinner ADR at Kona at 6:45. since we have never been to the Poly (not even for a meal) I am trying to get some ideas. Should I keep the bathingsuits out and swim after getting checked in? Would it be enough just to walk the grounds and get our bearings? Or just head over to MK until we need to be back for dinner? Would love any suggestions

If it is not too hot, just getting to know the Poly would be nice. It is sooo pretty. We would unpack, take a walk around the grounds, see the marina, water launch dock,the Volcano pool and quiet pool, wander through the shops, make a wish in the fountain at the Great Ceremonial House. ....sigh...I can smell it as I type!!

Do have an absolutely magical time!!

Our kids always want to hit the pool first, so I would plan for that!

the great thing about the poly is you can literally hop on the little ferry from the MK and be back in your room in 10 minutes!

You have an endless list of things you could do...especially since some do not take a large amount of time to accomplish:
1) get settled in your room
2) check-out the resort grounds...probably the only time you would spend the time to do this;
3) Rent Sea Racers;
4) Rent a Surrey Bike;
5) Ride the water yatcht to the MK, then to the GF and back to the PR (or just walk back from the GF to the PR-pickup a drink at the GF pool bar before you start);
6) Time at the Volcano pool then back to your room prior to dinner
7) take the yatcht to the MK and spend a little time at the MK
NOTE- I'm not sure this would be worth it considering your arrival time, time to check-in, luggage to room (if ready) travel to MK and back PR, security gate check, etc...you need to guage how much time is left before you need to be at the PR-Kona by 630..along with what day of the week and season you are in
