Hello Thanks for the reply! Do you personally have a preference to which view you liked better?Go look at the resort photos thread, or Poly thread. Many people post pics. Also in the accoodations link on Tikimans web site.
Standard view at Poly could be be of pool, gardens, or marina. A lake view is just that, a view of the lagoon, but not of theme park. To get MK view you'd have to book theme park view.
It's hard to compare a TPV vs a Lake View. They're 2 different things at 2 different resorts. If you wanted to compare TPV at BLT vs TPV at Poly, I'd think BLT may be better because it's closer to MK.
There are TPV in the DVC studios in the former Tahiti longhouse. There is no TPV for Poly Studios. You have to book a Poly resort room, in an entirely different longhouse, for that.
Lake view is in only one longhouse, and is often best described as "Bungalow view with water."
We had a view of the Volcano pool last August in Samoa 3rd floor. It's considered a standard view. We had view of the pool, could see the lagoon and GF too. Loved that view. I think it is my fav. I've only stayed at Poly once before that, pre DVC we were in Tokelau beach end of longhouse facing Hawaii. From our balcony we could see the castle if we looked sideways off balcony.Hello Thanks for the reply! Do you personally have a preference to which view you liked better?
But TPV isn't a bookable category in the DVC studios, like it is in BLT, or like it is in Poly standard rooms. There are TPV in the DVC studios in the former Tahiti longhouse.

WOW this is a nice view! Also, this isn't going to directly answer your question but here is the view from the 3rd floor of Hawaii. It's towards the lounge (or western) side of the building. Moorea third floor rooms would have a similar viewing angle, just 200 yards (??) east, or to the right of this photo, and the foreground bungalows and grassy peninsula area will be different. I can't speak to BLT but have stayed at CR and give the slight nod to the Poly centered view for fireworks, but would easily stay at either again.

WOW thanks for the photos! This was our lake view studio on the 3rd floor. I can't remember the exact room number but it was about 4-5 rooms from the elevator. View attachment 148412View attachment 148413
