Hi everyone
Disney is selling Standard Studio Bungalows on line. Would these be over water or in the buildings?
Do DVC members know where the standard and lake view studios will be?

They must have a typo.

There are no Standard Studio Bungalows.
There are Standard View Studios which will be in one of 3 longhouses
  • Pago Pago which could be parking lot or garden view
  • Moorea which would be garden view (possibly parking lot in the distance, but no one is sure yet)
  • Tokelau which would be either pool or garden view. This building will not be finished until June and the pool side view may not be used until the East pool is finished (sometime in December-February are the estimates)
Lake View studios will be in Moorea, but there may be some in Tokelau. We will not know until the resort opens and we have reports of where rooms are.

Bungalows will all be on the lake with a lake view.

(They could build something in the future that would change the above, but that would take years to build)

If it helps, here's a picture that I found on Tikiman's Facebook page...
1 is Pago Pago
2 is Moorea
4 it Tokelau

Also, here is a picture of Pago Pago with the parking lot (great access to TTC, but not such a great view from the parking lot side rooms)

So like the G-Flo, the Poly Villas are not in the main building and are all far from the monorail, correct?

The great thing about PVB longhouses is that side is very close to TTC. It may be a shorter walk to TTC than the GCH. From the TTC, you can take the ferry, resort monorail, or express monorail to MK. The monorail directly to Ecpot. You can also catch buses to DHS and AK, which are often less occupied than the resort buses.
TTC access is one of the Poly little known secrets.

Is there a door to close off the shower/sink area from the rest of the studio? I'm sure there's a door to close off the commode, and the shower/tub has a shower curtain. I'm just thinking if you have 3 people staying here whether you're related or not unless it's just a husband and wide, you'd want privacy and not want people looking at you taking a shower. :smooth:

Two questions…
1. In the top photo, would the TTC be just off to the right?

2. In the bottom photo, is that an open walkway or are they balconies off the rooms? Forgive my ignorance, but I've never stayed at the Poly.

And one more question…when the rest of the studios open, will they have theme park views?

TTC is just off to the right.

All DVC rooms have a balcony or a patio. In the case of the Pago Pago rooms facing the parking lot, the picture makes it appear it will be close. (Until the building is done and all landscaping is complete, I don't think we will fully know all the details.)

And one more question…when the rest of the studios open, will they have theme park views?

There are several lake view rooms in the Moorea longhouse with theme park views.

Question for those who may know. Is there still a DVC building on the left, as depicted in this picture? Or did the plans change? Also, is the new pool area also scrapped?

Disney scrapped these plans long ago.

No there is no DVC building on the left (at least not part of this round of construction).
T-shaped DVC building on the right also never happened. Instead, they left Rapa Nui (now called Pago Pago).
The "New Pool area" also did not happen. Supposedly, that will be the DVC BBQ/grilling area.

Tikiman has heard they have plans for additional construction in about 5 years. Guesses are they may build something to the left at that time. Tikiman has also stated he believes they will need to add a new pool when they do that construction. Just like these plans changed. Any future plans could change.
