Poly standard view at 7 months

I booked a lake view for July 4th week at 7 months... no problem at all! I thought that was a popular week, but apparently it is not as popular as Jersey Week! I still have another few weeks until I can try to switch my reservation, but there are no Poly studios available (at least not for the whole week). I am bummed! I didn't think we'd have an issue, but I can't complain too much... we do love AKV, too! I'm just happy we have a reservation and are going to WDW! Good luck to you!

Very true. The weather is typically gorgeous in November. But bobbiwoz is right... the 4th of July fireworks are SPECTACULAR!

I am a delicate northern snowflake who has explicit memories of puking all over Fantasyland and Tomorrowland during summer visits in the 1970s. So I tend to avoid summers now!

Understood! We also avoid the summer, but with one kid in high school and another in college, we don't always have that luxury! This year, we are super excited about returning in November! Can't wait to see the holiday decorations and hopefully attending MVMCP!

I prefer spring break to high summer. The weather is somewhat more agreeable.

My trip last October was hotter than expected, but I have found that cocktails help.

Time of the year means different availability. Early December is the busiest DVC time and the rooms book up very fast.

You could book the nights that are available and waitlist the missing nights. Then at 7 months see what you can still book someplace else as a backup in case the waitlist did not come thru.
