Poly standard or AKL-Savannah view?

Hi~

We have an extra night in November before we start our land/sea cruise and we wanted to stay someplace different (we are staying at the Beach Club prior to the cruise). Would you recommend staying at AKL-Savannah view or standard view at the poly?

It will be me, DH and DS-6yr old.

Being that it's just for one night, I would do the AKL...If it were a longer trip I would def take the Poly...

I would stay at the Poly if I wanted easy access to MK.

I would stay at AKL if I wanted to stay at the resort and do all the resort things at AKL.

Have a wonderful dinner at Boma as a family, or let DS go to the terrific kids club and have a romantic dinner at Boma; go to the storytelling; look at the animals through the nightgoggles and have a WONDERFUL time!

We have stayed at both, and I would choose the Poly without hesitation. The Poly is a unique Disney experience, and the location much better than AKL--there is nothing like a monorail resort.

The AKL is beautiful, but it's no Poly!

We've stayed at both. For one night, after a relaxing cruise, I would pick AKL and just plan on relaxing and enjoying the lodge. We stayed there in October after our cruise, and loved it.

I love the Poly and its transportation options, but it is more high energy than the AKL.

I have stayed at both.

I would say POLY.

You need to stay at both at some point, and POLY still would be my choice. Especially for 1 night.

Now if it were 3 nights and you have never been to either, I would do AKL first.

But 1 night...POLY POLY POLY
