What is this pool like? Does it have a lot of sun? Does it get as crowded as volcano pool?

We really liked the quiet pool at the Poly best. The volcano pool is just too small and crowded. Also, my children are older and didn't like the depth (or lack of it) at the volcano pool. We would go over to the main pool for a while so they could slide and then hit the quiet pool afterwards.

no slide...just you average run of the mill 1970's era in ground pool. steps on one end 8 feet on the other end.

We spent most of our pool time at the Poly at the quiet pool also. The Volcano pool is stunning & the slide is awesome, but the pool is way too small for the resort & packed. I had teenage boys who wanted to play catch & stuff, so we hung at the quiet pool (which was right outside our room anyways)

The volcano pool is only 4-4/12 feet deep and with older kids that just doesn't cut it. The quiet pool is a regular pool and I think 8 feet at the deepest. Like I said, we would spend a little time at the volcano and let them slide. Then, when it became overrun with small children, we headed to the quiet pool.

It is a much quieter/forgotten pool. Mostly adults and some kids were in there. It is a typical hotel type pool. Has a pool house there. My kids pretty much stayed away from it unless they wanted to jump off the sides. We mostly used it for a pathway to the arcade/laundry.

For me I liked the quiet pool so much better. The volcano pool is too small and gets very crowded and it's way too loud because of it's small size. There definitely was poor planning with that pool. They have a jetted area which is there version of a whirlpool which they put at the end of the slide which is loaded with children. The quiet pool no question is much nicer and quieter.

I can vouch that the quiet pool gets a fair amount of sun. My first steps on the concrete without sandals was an eye opener.

Overall, it's a generic pool that has plenty of room for swimming. Whereas, the best I could do at the volcano pool is wad through the hordes of people.
