Poly room rates

i checked on TripAdvisor for 4 nights for 11/7 and the rate was something like 540 per night for standard room. But when I checked MDE Disney website the rare for same nights in same room is 740!!!

Can anyone tell me why such a huge difference? And if I book my room on tripadvisor, where can I buy the park tickets? Will I get 180 days out for FP ressies even though it's booked with tripadvisor.

It has to do with the room type (Non-Club Level vs. Club Level) and view category. That $540 per night is roughly the avg rack rate on a non-CL Standard View room for those dates. $740 is the avg rack rate for a Club Level Garden View Room during those dates.

FWIW, Disney's website shows no availability for a non-CL Standard View room for those dates, so that's why it's not showing up there.

Third party companies like Trip Advisor have an allotment of rooms they can sell to you. Disney might have already sold out of the rooms that they had.

OP, not that you asked but I wouldn't recomend booking that TripAdvisor rate. That's a rack rate, no discounts. I think you could do better once general public discounts come out later this year. That means waiting to book and maybe needing to tinker with dates a bit, but generally speaking booking at rack rate should only be a very last option.
