Poly room coffee pots?

I can't remember... Are the coffee pots in the rooms the small, 4 cup pots that I can bring my own filters and ground coffee?

That's what I was afraid of. I guess I will bring my own then.

I want to use my own coffee... Maybe even buy some Kona coffee, so I want to make my own in my room.

I do have a little coffee maker so I can bring that one.

Whew! Good to know! Community Coffee makes the pod/packets! I'll stock up some for our trip. That'd be easier than bringing filters and the grounds anyway!

We were there Dec. 12 - 18th and they have Cuisinart individual pod coffee etc. makers. But we were not impressed with the flavor at all. We did enjoy the Kona Cafe coffee though!

Yes... Bring your own. WDW uses Nescafé at the parks. Unsure at the resorts. But I'm bringing my own to be on the safe side. Nothing like nasty coffee. :-(

From my experience from other hotels (not the Poly), but they are usually 4 cup coffee pots. So one pod would make one 4 cup pot.

I'd love to see pictures also if anyone has them.

I found this link about where to find REAL COFFEE around WDW. Apparently, the coffee at the parks are made from a concentrates syrup mix, and not brewed fr grounds.

That I do know...but I just wanted to know specifically how many single serve pods they provide per day & are they regular, decaf, flavored, etc. They are Cuisinart pods...so most likely no Nescafe brand in the pods.

Ok I'm confused - is it the Cuisinart single serve pod maker (because they do take K cups) or a larger type pod coffee maker? On another thread someone said they were the single serve style - but when you said they don't use K cups, that makes me think they're still the 4-cup style.

They don't use a kcup instead its a pod google Baronet coffee pod and you'll see what I mean .I bought a box for our trip in a couple of weeks!

Single serve with side by side feature so you can brew 2 individual cups at one time. There were lots of coffee pod packets in the drawer below, so I didn't have to worry about the mousekeeper leaving me coffee!

They take the individual cup pods, like Senseo. Actually Senseo coffee is very good and easily bought at most supermarkets. You can brew 2 cups at a time using 2 pods.

Our experience was that the flavor was only a tad better than Nescafe!

These are Cuisinart Double Pod Machines.

I am trying to find out about empty filter pods where you can use your own grounds as a friend who is coming with us in June is a big Starbuck's fan. Being able to have a good cup of coffee to start his day is IMPERATIVE to a good vacation!!!
