We were there last week in Tokelau room 2918 and had great views of the bungalows and the CR and space mountain. On our last day 1/20 they were planting palm trees around the quiet pool. To me that must mean they are coming along nicely if they are at landscaping stage.

Checked into Poly today. Had requested one of the rooms listed on this thread and I got 2913 in Tokelau. Straight out lagoon view and grand Floridian, if lean over balcony and look to right can see entire wishes from balcony!

Looks like they could be done within a month. There is water in the pool. Not much noise at all

So it looks like if we want to be near parking lot, we should request Pago Pago. access to our car is more important than the view.

My friends are staying in a PVB Standard View Studio and asked me about calling to make a specific room request. Does anyone here have any advice on a short list of good room numbers I can tell them? Or should I just tell them something like, "request 3rd floor room in Moorea or Tokelau" ?

Does anyone know at which room in Tokelau the cutoff takes place between a LV and a SV?

All Tokelau rooms are standard view but many of the rooms can see the lagoon off to the side. Many of the rooms on the side facing Hawaii can see the castle and fireworks.

We are staying at Poly for 3 nights in late March. I have requested 3 floor, Tokelau via Member Services. Can anyone send a recent picture of the pool area so that I have a sense of what our worst case view will be? Does anyone know if there is a chance the pool might be open by late March?

I have been posting photos sent to me almost every day including one from yesterday over on my Tikiman Facebook page. Guests were told it would open this weekend by lifeguards but speaking with staff that has a little more info on the construction they said they had no plans to open it in the next few weeks. They said the lifeguards might start training over at the pool but they are not ready to open it and it has not even gone through inspections. Also food and beverage is not even going to start training staff for the bar and grill over at the pool until mid March.

Question, I have a lakeview room in a couple of weeks. Will that be in the Tokelau Longhouse? I only put room ready asap request on room, not specific location, or any other request. Any ideas where we may wind up?
