Poly Rehab - in Hawaii Bldg

We are planning a trip for late Jan early Feb and were planning to stay GF, but after seeing the new picture of the Poly conc. rooms we may return for our third year straight. (It's so hard to change - when its always been so great there) Does anyone know where I can find out the renovation dates for each longhouse?
How does GF compare to Poly? Anyone?

Why not try a split-stay? This is what we did. I wanted to try the GF but we all wanted to stay at the Polynesian again too, so we split our stay and it worked out great. The renovation dates for each longhouse are not decided yet, however, Hawaii is being renovated September/October time, so it should almost definitely have those amazing new rooms by next year.

I prefer the Polynesian to the GF, especially with children. It's such a magical resort. I found the CMs at the GF good, but not a touch on the cheerful and incredibly friendly CMs of the Polynesian.
