Staying next March of 2016... wondering about a regular room or a DVC studio? The studios will be nice and new, but I worry that the East pool construction may linger into next year... help!
There are 2 "bath" areas but only 1 toilet. One side has a walk in shower and a sink/vanity and the other side has a sink/vanity, tub/shower, and toilet.
Whether a studio will work for your family also depends on how many beds you need. The studios only have 1 queen size bed, a pull out sleeper sofa, and a pull down bunk size bed. If you want 2 full queen beds you will need a traditional room.
Hopefully~ that helps very much. Would probably prefer two queen beds, but either set up works for our family of 4 (with 2 young children). If the walk in shower has a glass door, I would be interested in knowing as that is a safety concern for me

Another drawback for DVC studio is if you are considering trying to book with a room only discount-bay lake and grand Floridian DVC rooms have previously been excluded from the room only discounts offered at other dvc and deluxe resorts. I suspect Poly DVC will also be excluded whereas Poly hotel has previously been included.
