Poly pool hours?

I was wondering if anyone knew what the pool hours were for the pools at the Poly?

Lifeguards are on duty at the Volcano pool has 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 a.m. These hours change to 10:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. in the offseason. This does not mean you can not swim before or after (so basically 24 hours).

In December I saw some guests swimming in the Volcano pool late at night when there were no lifeguards there. I think they are allowed to do that as long as they don't make to much noise because it could bother some guests staying in the Samoa Longhouse since some rooms there face the Volcano pool.

Exactly. So long as you're not making a huge ruckus, you're pretty much left alone to swim at your own risk. I stayed in the Samoa longhouse facing the volcano pool and really didn't notice any noise when people were in the pool.

I forgot to mention that sometimes during the nights when I was at the Poly there were ducks in the volcano pool. I am not sure what it's like during the other months of the year, so if you do plan to swim late at night it's something you should know ahead of time incase you see them in the pool.

Night swimming at the Polynesian is one of my favorite things to do at WDW. You can see the fireworks over the castle perfectly from the beach and from inside the pool.
