Does anyone know the pool hours for the Poly volcano pool around the beginning of October? thanks!

I was jsut there in August and the pool hours were listed as 7am to midnight. but the guards left at 10:00pm. I think in the off season the hours are 7-10pm.

Would you say that in December the pool hours would be from 7:00 AM - 12:00 AM and would that be for both the Volcano pool and the quiet pool?

It is my understanding that those hours apply to both pools.

You know, I don't want to mislead you. I don't know the answer to that one. I see you are going to be there over Christmas which is the busiest time of the year for WDW but outside of that it is off-season.

I will venture to guess that it will close at 10:00 since it is December. But the Parks do stay open alot later during that time of the year so maybe the pools will also.

Sorry!! Hopefully another DISer will have a more definite answer for you.

My memory may be a bit rusty but when I stayed at the Poly last December (12/17 - 12/21/06) the pool hours were from 7am until Midnight. This was for both the quiet pool and the volcano pool. The Poly was booked to capacity during that time.

Hope that helps! :thumbsup2

Except for lightning storms and when the CMs are cleaning it, the Polynesian pool is "open", even after the lifeguards are off-duty. One of my favorite times to swim at the Polynesian is late at night :)

As long as you're not screaming and/or disturbing others, they allow guests to swim even after the posted hours.

Cool good to know, will be there in three weeks.

That information does help so thank you for knowing the answer. :thumbsup2

The lifeguards don't show up for duty at the Volcano pool until 10:00am, and the slide is only open when lifeguards are on duty.
