Poly or Contemporary?

Which would you choose? I diff. want concerige level at both. It will be me. DH, DD9, DD5.

Well, I'm biased towards the Polynesian. There are lots of activities for the kids, an on-site child care club (4pm - 12am), a volcano pool with a view of Cinderella's castle and more. You have the monorail and the boat launch to the MK, a short walk to the TTC to go to EPCOT, and bus service to all other destinations. The theming is top-notch!

I haven't stayed at the Contemporary but it is also very nice. Very modern. No on-site child care club but you can take the monorail to the one at the Polynesian. You can walk from the CR to the MK but I wouldn't recommend this with young children--which is why I recommend the Poly.

We have stayed concierge level at both resorts. It is a tough decision!

What month are you planning to go? At what parks will you spend most of your time?

I'll give my opinion after I know that.

Poly, we did not like the CR when we stayed there....plus I think Poly has better dining KONA!

We LOVE the Poly, but it's all a matter of choice and personal preference. We love the tropical feel and feel "at home" when we get there. The Contemporary feels too "art deco" or too "retro" for us. It really had nothing to do with it being a "bad hotel" because it's not.

If your on the concierge level at the CR you'd be on either the 12th or 14th floor of the tower. If you opted for the MK view, you'd have the best view in WDW and a front-row seat from your balcony of the MK fireworks each evening.

If your kids will want to eat with the characters, Chef Mickey's is right down stairs and is a good place for breakfast.

The CR allows you to either take the monorail to the Mk or walk. The walk is short and we did it with our 3yo a number of times.

The Poly is nice too. I felt like the view at the CR was far superior.
