Hi, I will be travelling Sept 30 - Oct 6 and wanted opinions on which hotel is better for a 2 1/2 and 1 1/2 year old. Since they are so young, we will be spending just 1 or 1 1/2 days in the parks and the rest of the time at the pool. Which hotel do you think has more to offer for the toddlers? I know the kiddie pool at the beach club was great when we went last year, but I never stayed at the Poly. Any advice?????

we were at the BC last year with ds 1 1/2 and loved the pool. He would sit and play in the sand all day if I let him. There is a huge section that is only like a foot deep with a sand bottom and a beach. Our kids loved it and so did we!

Both resorts are just lovely and have very loyal followings. That said, I prefer the Poly because of the monorail to both the Magic Kingdom and EPCOT. Also, I love the fact that I can watch the fireworks over Cinderella's castle every single night from the beach. We just got back and it is still our absolute favorite hotel.

We LOVED LOVED the beach club, we have stayed in both, and for us beach club wins hands down. Yes, the monorail access was nice, but we LOVE the beach club pool, the kids could of been in there for days! They also loved being close to the boardwalk, if we needed a walk, it was there, and they loved the performers, and the ice cream, and the candy store.
We liked the poly, I would not stay there again, we loved the beach club, and we even felt the rooms were nicer. We were able to put the pack n play, back by the bathroom, and the baby could not see us, and she slept so much better. When we were at the ploy the crib was right there, and she did not sleep as well.
they are both beautiful though!

I have never stayed at the Poly, but we own DVC and have stayed at the Beach Club every time because of the pool. It really is little kid friendly. Also, we liked that you could walk to Epcot. We would go to the park in the morning, spend the afternoon at the pool and then walk to Epcot for dinner. We love it!

The Poly is great, but there is nothing like the pool at BC for toddlers. That pool was the first time when my kids really enjoyed playing at a pool for a long period of time. They really loved the sand and the fact that the pool area for them was so big.

We have stayed at both. Good news either one is just great. The pool at the Poly is zero entry and nice for kids. The beach club pool as you know is great. I bet you would spend more time at the parks if it was easier. The monerail makes it very very easy from the poly. I probably would pick the Poly.
