poly nerves

With all the rehab talk, frankly I am getting nervous about room selection at the Poly. We arrive next week on the 9th. I reserved garden view. I have 2 or 3 lonhouses in mind, but I need 2 rooms connecting on the first floor. Does anyone think this will be a problem? I did note this request on my reservation. I'm sure it is just last minute jitters. I would love one of the new rooms, but I am sure so does everyone else.

Don't worry, you will have a great time at the Polynesian.

If your only request was connecting rooms, first floor, I think you have a very good chance of getting that. I don't know the count but it has always seemed to me that almost all the rooms we've had at the Polynesian have a connecting door.

I know people get so worried about which longhouse to request but we've never requested a specific one and have loved all 3 we've stayed in (in over 30 stays) each for different reasons. And I think it is fun to read posts after people return in which they feel the longhouse they were in was the best of all. I think every longhouse has advantages.

THank so much for the encouraging words. We have stayed at CBR for our past trips and this is our first trip back to Poly since 1972. In addition, my mom is coming with us. We are very excited! I am going to request Rapa Nui, Tahiti, or Tokelau. Any of those would be fine with me. I will report when I return.
