poly/monorail??

we will be at the poly 9/14-9/20 can someone tell me about the monorail
can we get on it inside of the hotel? can we take it to chef mickey?
this is our 1st time at this resort

Hiya!

At the Poly. the monorail is located at the 2nd level of the Great Ceremonial House. You would have to walk from your longhouse (all of the hotel rooms at the Poly are grouped in separate longhouses) to the GCH. To get to Chef Mickey, which is at the Contemporary, you would board the monorail at the Poly and ride it to the Contemporary Resort. The monorail from the Poly stops at the Grand Floridian, then the Magic Kingdom, then stops at the Contemporary.
