poly MK view rooms

hiya
ive read that not all the longhouses at the poly have balconies. if ive paid extra to get a MK view, will i definately get a balcony?

Not all of the longhouses have balconies on the second floor level. They do all have balconies on their third floor level.

Reserving an 'MK View' room guarantees you an unobstructed view of the castle... but they may or may not also have a balcony. There are first floor rooms with MK views too--and these would have a patio.

You can request a balcony, but it will not be guaranteed. Ask/re-affirm your request again at check-in, and if an MK room with a balcony is available I am sure they will try to accomidate you.

Not necessarily if your on the 2nd floor of a long house. We always request the 3rd floor for this very reason. Although we have been on the 2nd and it was still very nice.

if you dont have a balcony, what is it instead? do you just get a big window, is that it? if i'm paying this much for a room, i wanna be able to sit outside it!!

The answer to your question is NO!
You are paying for a MK View. That room may or may not also have a balcony. Request 3rd floor and hope for the best.
We actually paid for a Garden view and our #1 request was a balcony. We did not even request which building, as a balcony was the most important thing to us.

what would be the best way of requesting this? i booked the room online and they didnt give me anywhere to ask for special requests. should i phone them up? its our anniversary trip, should i bother mentioning this to them too?

Everyone says it's best to phone CRO and tell them to add on your request of a 3rd floor room with a balcony. Of course you got to remember it's nothing more then a request, so saying it's an anniversary trip will have no outcome if you get it or not.
