Will be at the Poly in Oct. with DH. We have stayed there one other time and so far it is our favorite. Last time, which was the first time we were ever there we had a GV and said that the only thing we would do differently on our return was to get a LV. I have made the ressies and booked a LV , not concierge, but don't know what longhouse to request. For those of you in the know, what would be the BEST LV longhouse to request?? 2 adults, no kids. Thanks fellow Poly lovers:cool:

Tahiti!!!!!!!!! This longhouse probably has the best lagoon view rooms (other than Hawaii - which is concierge). We were in Tahiti last year in a GV and I said the same thing to my DH. Next time we come back here it will be a LV room in Tahiti. Have a GREAT time!!!!!!!!

Thanks so much Scanne, I'm going to call right now and request Tahiti. Congratulations and best of luck on your expected new arrival:) Now you'll be able to enjoy DW in a whole new light!!

You will love Tahiti. We stayed there with a logoon view last summer and loved every minute of it. We found ourselves cutting days short at the parks so we could spend a little more time at the resort. The rooms are spacious, 2 sinks in the bathroom and the view is amazing. The volcano pool is great(my kids loved it - ages 17, 9, & 21/2) It is our absolute favorite place and we can't say enough about the building.

You actually don't have much choice!
Tuvalu is smoking.
Tahiti is non-smoking.
Hawaii is concierge.
Tokelau has only a handful of lagoon view rooms (and not the best lagoon views either).

Very likely your choice will be made for you by your smoking preference.

most definately Tahiti!!!
as stated before, you only have 2 choices... because the third longhouse with a LV is Hawaii - the concierge longhouse.

so it's Tahiti or Tokelau
Tokelau is an older building, and doesnt have the beach in front of it,and doesnt have balconies on the 2nd floor.
Tahiti is a newer longhouse, every room has a balcony or patio, and the beach is in front of it, which makes the view more magical!!!
we stayed in Tahiti on the third floor last May, it was a spectacular view!!!!!! you will love it! :)

Thanks everyone. I called Disney Travel and requested Tahiti this afternoon. Right now I have a DC discount, room still seems expensive,$420/night including tax:( . I'm hoping to get an AP rate or Fl. resident rate if/when they come out. We, DH and I, will be going the 2nd week in Oct.But even if I don't, I will still keep the ressie:) . LV , Tahiti longhouse sounds too wonderful to pass up! Thanks again:D

Agree with tahiti! Beauitful view! Great lagoon & even good garden views. This building is a little farther out from the main building, & pools, but it is a beautiful walk, with the torches lit! MKY:)
